The crafter
Welcome, I’m Levon – the hands, heart, and mind behind Levon Crafts.
Levon Crafts is more than a brand – it's my way of sharing a deeply personal love for craftsmanship. This love has its roots in my childhood. My father, a museum director, would often take me on tours through quiet halls, teaching me to appreciate the skill in every handmade piece of art. Since then, anything crafted by hand has fascinated me.
Over time, I discovered the art of leather.
Through Levon Crafts I can express that art. I’m passionate about things built to last, craftsmanship and meticulous detail. I hope you’ll find value in them too.

My picks for you
What I’d gift, and what I use every day.
Respectful craft
I value every piece of leather I work with. All the leather I use comes from animals that have already passed through other industries. By reusing leather, I help ensure that valuable material doesn’t end up in landfills, where it would contribute to a serious environmental problem.
Our leather comes from Italy, chosen because of its unmatched quality and centuries-old tradition of tanning. This quality means that the pieces I craft will last for many years, not needing to be replaced after a short time.
To me, real sustainability is also about building products that endure. That’s the heart of Levon Crafts: to respect the material, honor its origins, and create something you can carry for a lifetime.

What I use
I use only the finest Italian vegetable-tanned* leather. Vegetable tanning is an ancient, natural process, transforming pieces into durable leather using plant-based tannins—no harmful chemicals.
This process turns the leather into a biodegradable material as it has no chemicals, and thus safe for sensitive skin. The tanneries I partner with prioritize environmental responsibility with advanced wastewater treatment. Finally, no animal is killed for its skin; we use leather as a by-product of the food industry.
*While the names may sound similar, vegetable-tanned leather is not to be confused with vegan leather, which is not a real leather product.
How to care
-
Avoid excessive wetness especially in the first month
-
Keep away from extreme heat
-
Use an animal hair brush for cleaning
-
Occasionally wax with all-natural leather balms, avoiding chemical sprays
Your leather accessory is "unfinished" until it finds you. That means your product will age over time, developing a unique patina, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
